What this app is

Calm Moves Companion is an interactive educational planning application for people navigating separation, divorce, or a major relationship transition in Ontario. It provides digital tools and general information for educational and organizational purposes only.

What this app is not

This app does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice, and using it does not create a lawyer client, financial advisor, or real estate relationship with Michelle Heron or Calm Moves. The estimators, scenario planners, checklists, and information in this app are general in nature and may not reflect your specific situation. Always consult a qualified lawyer, financial advisor, or other professional before making major decisions about your home, finances, or legal matters.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for anything that happens under your account. Please use a real email address so we can help you if you have trouble accessing your account.

Payment and access

Calm Moves Companion is sold by Michelle Heron, operating as Calm Moves, for a one time payment of $47 CAD plus applicable taxes. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added to the $47 CAD price at checkout by Paddle based on your location. Once purchased, you receive lifetime digital access to the interactive housing planning application and its features, including future updates.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Refund Policy

Calm Moves offers a 14 day refund period. If you decide Calm Moves is not right for you, you may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase date.

Refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. To request a refund, visit Paddle's buyer support portal at paddle.net and select the "Request refund" option for your purchase. You may also contact Michelle@CalmMoves.ca if you need assistance with the process.

Refunds remain subject to Paddle's processing procedures and applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy limits or overrides any mandatory consumer rights that may apply based on your location.

Upon a completed refund, access to Calm Moves will end. The full policy is available on our Refund Policy page.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and not to copy, resell, or redistribute its content without permission.

No guarantees

We do our best to keep the app accurate and running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the app will be error free or uninterrupted, and we do not guarantee any specific financial or legal outcome from using it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm Moves and Michelle Heron are not liable for any decisions made based on information in this app. You are responsible for verifying any figures or information with the appropriate professional before relying on them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
